I received your note and beg to state in reply. Causse's Christian name is, far as I know, Marie; age about 23-
1, that her native place is probably Esslingen in the Kingdom of Würtemberg or perhaps Stuttgart the capital of Wirtemberg.
2. that she first came here a year ago; coming, as I then understood, from India where she had been engaged in teaching. She has since been in Shanghai and Japan, Singapore, Bangkok and Emory, from which latter place she came again to Hongkong about a month ago.
